Taste - Amazing!!! Almost like my eldest sister’s cooking back home Portion - Good size, especially for the price. Parking space - Complimentary and plenty of space. But no sure what’s like during peak time as we visited on an early Saturday at 11am EST. Direction - Google Maps is accurate but if you’re first time visiting. Mama’s Kusuna is located inside the market place (across from India Walleh). Payment method - Card or Cash Service - OUTSTANDING and APPRECIATIVE. Right away when my wife and I walked in. We were greeted in Tagalog with happy smile. The counter server was extremely polite and friendly approached. The gentleman that helped us must be one of the children. He even explained every enter that they have and also informed us what else to expect for next time. Bicol Express Menudo Dessert - Maja Blanka We highly recommend this place if you are visiting Windsor, Canada. from Michigan Detroit. Maraming Salamat Po for your Canadian Pinoy Hospitality ????????????????

Mama's Kusina was so worth crossing the border to eat! My partner is Filipino and had been on the look out for somewhere to get some good grub and find it he did! Got a large pancit palabok and a regular tapsilog. The pancit palabok was saucy, delicious & plentiful while the tapsilog was the perfect bite of that classic vinegar beef flavor + garlic fried rice + fried egg. We also got a bag of chicharon and the kind people at the store mixed us extra vinegar dipping sauce (suka) to go with it. The chicharon were super thick! You can tell it was homemade with love. I would recommend calling in to make the order if you can! They run out of food depending on what's on the menu for the day. I also asked about party trays which they do make, keeping it in my back pocket for the next time I host a birthday or something :)

The food is very good. Filipino food can be salty and fatty, but their entree are just right. Not too salty or not too oily. Staff are friendly. The place is really clean and spotless every day.

Honestly as a first generation Filipino Canadian this spot nails the traditional food. Our people have always been known to give alot of food when serving, and this place does not disappoint. Portion size for a combo is a good amount to fill you, and coupled with some amazing staff and friendly service you'll be back ordering. Fun note, they change their menu daily so keep a lookout for different varieties!

We had the noodles topped with shrimp & egg (I do not know the proper name of the dish) and the siumai (steamed pork dumplings). Both were very tasty. Friendliest owners. Will be back to try other dishes next time. Mostly take out but there are a few seats there and it is nice to enjoy everything hot and fresh.
